Terms & Conditions of Use
Anima Interactive Corp., doing business as Zoolife ("Zoolife," "we," "us," or "our"), owns and operates the Zoolife platform, applications, and related websites, including https://app.zoolife.tv (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Services.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND SERVICES
1.1 Eligibility
The Services are intended solely for registered users who are 13 years of age or older. Zoolife does not permit individuals under the age of 13 to create an account or use the Services independently, in accordance with applicable privacy and child protection laws. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old.
1.2 License and Use
The Zoolife Service, and any content viewed through the Service, is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise expressly authorized in writing by Zoolife. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Zoolife grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view Zoolife content through the Services.
No ownership rights are transferred to you. Zoolife may revoke this license at any time. Upon termination or revocation, you must cease all use of the Services and, to the extent reasonably practicable, delete or destroy any content obtained through the Services.
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SERVICE OPERATIONS
2.1 Registration Obligations
To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information.
2.2 Uptime and Availability
Zoolife’s Services and content availability is dependent on participating zoos and animal sanctuary organizations, which may experience interruptions from time to time due to scheduled maintenance, network interruptions, and other factors that may be within or outside of Zoolife’s reasonable control. Zoolife will use commercially reasonable efforts to maximize Service availability and minimize interruptions; however, uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Services is not guaranteed, and Zoolife shall not be liable for any interruption or unavailability of the Services.
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You may not share your account credentials with any other person except members of your immediate household, and only for use on up to three (3) devices located at the same residential address. Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination. Any other form of account sharing is strictly prohibited.
You agree to immediately notify Zoolife at support@zoolife.tv of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Zoolife shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply.
2.4 Modifications to the Services
Zoolife reserves the right, at any time and from time to time, to modify, suspend, discontinue, or otherwise change any aspect of the Services, including features, functionality, content availability, and access levels. Certain features may be offered only as part of paid membership plans, while others may be available on a free or limited basis. Zoolife will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes affecting paid features or membership plans, but such notice is not guaranteed. Zoolife shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.
2.5 Storage and Retention
Zoolife may establish limits on data retention and storage. Zoolife is not responsible for the deletion or failure to store any data or content. Inactive accounts may be terminated at Zoolife’s discretion.
2.6 Mobile Access
Mobile access may be subject to your wireless carrier’s fees and restrictions. Zoolife is not responsible for carrier limitations or charges.
2.7 Refunds
Refunds, if any, are determined or offered at Zoolife's reasonable discretion and provided in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Where refunds are permitted or offered at Zoolife’s discretion, they may be calculated on a pro-rated basis for the unused portion of a membership term. Please refer to Section 3.2 regarding access and billing. Refunds are not available for accounts which have violated the Terms; violations are determined at Zoolife's sole discretion. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under applicable law. Should you become dissatisfied with the Service, you may contact us to discuss options at support@zoolife.tv.
3. PAYMENTS AND MEMBERSHIPS
3.1 Fees
If any portion of the Services is offered for a fee, you agree to provide valid payment information and authorize Zoolife to charge the applicable fees and taxes. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account. You are responsible to update your account information with any changes (for example, a change in your billing address or credit card expiration date) that may occur. If you dispute any charges you must let Zoolife know within thirty (30) days after the date that Zoolife charges you. Your continued use of the Service after the price change becomes effective constitutes your agreement to pay the changed fee amount.
3.2 Recurring Memberships
If you select a plan with automatic renewal (a “Recurring Membership”), you authorize Zoolife to store and charge your payment method at the beginning of each renewal period until you cancel. Zoolife may update pricing for Recurring Memberships and will communicate applicable price changes in advance. You are responsible for all charges incurred prior to cancellation. You may change or cancel a Recurring Membership at any time by visiting the "Manage Your Account" page for changes to take immediate effect. If you cancel your membership before the end of the current membership period, there will be no automatic refund of fees already paid. Following any cancellation, however, you will continue to have access to the Services through the end of your current membership period. Zoolife may, at its sole discretion, offer credits, discounts, or other consideration to some or all users; the provision of such credits in one instance does not obligate Zoolife to provide credits in the future.
3.3 Commercial Use Restrictions
Except as expressly authorized in writing by Zoolife, you may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, sell, resell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the Services or any portion thereof for commercial purposes. Any unauthorized commercial use may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and may subject you to civil liability, injunctive relief, damages, and other remedies available under applicable law.
4. USER CONDUCT
Zoolife is a shared space designed to foster respectful and engaging conversations for the appreciation of animals. All users are expected to treat others on the platform and the partner organisation staff with courtesy, avoiding harmful, offensive, critical or disruptive behaviour, and keeping discussions positive. To ensure virtual habitats remain safe, welcoming, and educational for everyone, Zoolife retains the right to moderate or remove content or conduct that prevents an enjoyable experience of the Services for all users. Violations will be investigated and accounts will be suspended or terminated at Zoolife’s sole discretion to maintain platform integrity.
Please refrain from:
- Abuse or manipulation of camera controls without regard for others watching;
- Disrespectful, critical, offensive, and disruptive commentary
- Taking recordings containing staff or visitors
- Derogatory, unlawful, harmful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or hateful dialogue;
- Actions that interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Services
- Solicitation or unauthorized advertising, promotional or commercial activities for any goods or services for any business purpose that is not specifically authorized by Zoolife;
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting affiliations; Violation of any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- Obtain or attempt to obtain any materials, information, or user information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Service;
- Engage in any activity that may harm Zoolife, its content partners, animals, or other users;
- Record, capture, screenshot, scrape, download, reproduce, redistribute, stream, or otherwise exploit any livestreams, recordings, or visual content from the Services for commercial use, unless explicitly authorized in writing by Zoolife.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
5.1 Service Content, Software and Trademarks
You acknowledge and agree that the Services may contain content or features ("Service Content") that are protected by copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights and laws. Except as expressly authorized by Zoolife, you agree not to modify, copy, frame, scrape, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services or the Service Content, in whole or in part, except that the foregoing does not apply to your own User Content that you legally upload to the Services.
In connection with your use of the Services, you agree not to engage in data mining, robots, scraping, or similar data gathering or extraction methods. If you are blocked by Zoolife from accessing the Services (including blocking your IP address), you agree not to circumvent such blocking by any means. Any use of the Services or the Service Content other than as specifically authorized herein is strictly prohibited.
The technology and software underlying the Services or distributed in connection therewith are the property of Zoolife, its affiliates, and its partners (the "Software"). You agree not to copy, modify, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, or otherwise attempt to discover any source code, or sell, assign, sublicense, or otherwise transfer any rights in the Software. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Zoolife.
The Zoolife name and logos are trademarks and service marks of Zoolife (collectively, the "Zoolife Trademarks"). Other product and service names and logos displayed via the Services may be trademarks or service marks of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms or the Services grants any license or right to use any Zoolife Trademarks without Zoolife’s prior written permission. All goodwill generated from the use of Zoolife Trademarks shall inure to Zoolife’s exclusive benefit.
5.2 Third-Party Material
Under no circumstances shall Zoolife be liable for any content or materials of any third parties (including users), including any errors or omissions, or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of such content. You acknowledge that Zoolife does not pre-screen content, but reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse or remove any content available via the Services. You agree that you must evaluate and bear all risks associated with the use of any content.
5.3 User Content Transmitted Through the Services
With respect to any content or materials you upload or share through the Services ("User Content"), you represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to such User Content. By uploading User Content, you grant Zoolife, its affiliates, and partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, store, modify, and otherwise exploit such User Content in any media now known or later developed, for any purpose.
You further acknowledge that any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, or feedback ("Submissions") are non-confidential and may be used by Zoolife without restriction or compensation. Zoolife may preserve or disclose content as required by law or to enforce these Terms, protect rights, or ensure safety. You understand that technical processing and transmission of content may involve transmissions over various networks and changes to conform to technical requirements.
5.4 Copyright Complaints
Zoolife respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your work has been infringed, you may notify Zoolife by contacting support@zoolife.tv or by mail at 507 King St E. Unit 107, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5A 1M3.
5.5 Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with applicable law, Zoolife has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. Zoolife may also limit access to the Services or terminate accounts for intellectual property infringement, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.Zoolife respects the intellectual property rights of others. 6. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES/CONTENT
The Services may provide, or third parties may provide, links or access to external websites and resources. Zoolife has no control over such sites and does not endorse them. You acknowledge that Zoolife is not responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any third-party content, goods, or services.
You may enable or log in to the Services through third-party social networking services such as Meta or Google ("Social Networking Services"). Any information shared through such services is governed by their respective policies, and Zoolife shall not be responsible for their privacy or data practices. Zoolife provides such integrations solely as a convenience and does not endorse any Social Networking Services.
7. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS
7.1 Animal Welfare and Visibility Disclaimer
You acknowledge and agree that the Services provide access to live and recorded views of animals located at participating zoos and animal sanctuary organizations. Zoolife does not control, stage, direct, or influence animal behavior, activity levels, visibility, or movement. Animals may not be visible at all times and may exhibit natural, unpredictable behavior. Zoolife makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the visibility, activity, health, or behavior of any animal accessible through the Services.
Zoolife does not interfere with animal care, husbandry, enrichment, veterinary treatment, or welfare practices, all of which are solely managed by participating partner organizations. The Services are observational only. You agree not to use the Services in any manner that could reasonably be expected to disrupt animal welfare, zoo operations, or partner staff duties.
7.2 Internet Security Disclaimer
You acknowledge that transmission of User Content is necessary to use the Services and involves transmission over the Internet and other networks not owned or controlled by Zoolife. While Zoolife implements safeguards consistent with applicable privacy laws, it cannot guarantee security of data transmitted over public networks and shall not be responsible for intercepted, altered, or lost data.
7.3 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES AND ALL INFORMATION AND MATERIALS PROVIDED ARE OFFERED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." ZOOLIFE DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7.4 Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZOOLIFE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. ZOOLIFE’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO ZOOLIFE IN THE TWO (2) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
7.5 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zoolife and its affiliates from any claims arising out of your use of the Services, User Content, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable law.
8. GENERAL
8.0 Privacy Policy
Your use of the Services is also governed by Zoolife’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains how Zoolife collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information and forms an integral part of these Terms.
8.1 Termination
Zoolife may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services at any time, in its sole discretion, for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons, without notice. Zoolife shall not be liable for any termination.
8.2 Dispute Resolution
Except where prohibited by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Ontario, Canada, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario). The arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis, and class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
8.3 Entire Agreement and Enforcement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Zoolife regarding the Services. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of arising. Zoolife’s failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Zoolife’s consent; Zoolife may assign freely.
8.4 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Subject to Section 8.2, these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to Section 10, the courts of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
8.5 Survival
All provisions which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
Notices may be provided electronically. Force majeure events excuse performance delays beyond reasonable control.

Privacy Notice
This Notice explains the practices that Anima Interactive Corp. (d/b/a “zoolife”) follows regarding the personal data that we collect through the use of the zoolife application, visits to our website, or when you contact us directly. We will refer to these as “our services”.
Privacy Regulations Compliance
Because zoolife is a technology platform that provides its application and services globally, we are expected to comply with different Privacy and Data Protection Regulations such as the General DataProtection Regulation (“GDPR”) in the EU, the Personal Information Protection and ElectronicDocuments Act (“PIPEDA”) in Canada or the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
We respect your privacy rights at all times, and we commit to protecting your personal data to the higheststandard, regardless of where you are located.
Information We Collect
We DO NOT collect or store any sensitive or personal information about you. No personal information, such as your first and last name, address, or phone number, is required to use our services.
When you choose to sign up with the zoolife application, you will be assigned a randomly generated zoo-themed nickname and user login ID. You may change this at any time should you choose to be referred to otherwise.
Information You Provide To Us
While the services do not require you to provide any personal or sensitive information, at times we may need certain types of information to provide the services to you. The specific types of information we collect will depend upon the services you use, how you use them, and the information you choose to provide. The types of information we collect directly from you includes:
- Email address and log-in credentials, if you create a zoolife account
- Billing information, such as your name, billing address, and payment method details
- Payment history of your purchases, other transactions with us, or your customer service interactions with us
- Content you choose to provide to us, such as when you respond to a survey request, enter a photo contest, or participate in the chat / Q&A on the zoolife application
- If you refer another user to our services, or request that your purchase be provided to someone other than yourself (such as a gift card recipient), we use the information you provide about the other person to fulfill your request.
- If you choose to share photos or videos from zoolife to social media through the share integration, we use your email and social media handle to fulfill your request.
- Any other information you choose to provide to us in connection with your use of our services
This data can be removed from the “Manage my account” page under the main menu on the zoolife application, or upon the user’s request by contacting privacy@zoolife.tv Please note that at times if you do not provide us with certain information, or ask us to delete it, this may mean you are no longer able to access or use our services.
Information Collected Through Automated Means
When you use our services, we and our service providers (which are third party companies that work on our behalf) may use a variety of technologies, including cookies and similar tools, to collect certain information that we analyze in order to make changes that improve the Services over time.
When you use the zoolife application, we anonymously collect and analyze information such as IP address, geography (city and country), browser type, device type, referring and exit page URLs, clicks, date and time of use, content watched, duration watched, error logs, and other information about how you use zoolife, so we can improve your experience over time. For example, we analyze data to understand which parts of the application you visit the most or what e-mail communications you receive and open.This information helps us optimize and tailor our services and communications for you and others.

How We Use Your Information
We, or our service providers, use the information we collect for various purposes including:
- Provide you with the services or complete any purchases you have requested and resolve technical issues you have reported
- Respond to your request for information and provide you with more effective and efficient customer service, such as password reset requests (also available under Manage Your Account)
- Contact you by email regarding new features and content available, optional surveys, research studies, promotions, special events, news or updates about animals or our zoo partners, or other subjects that we think may be of interest to you
- Help us better understand your interests and needs, and improve our services, including through research and reports, to test and create new products, features, and services, and customize the content you see on our services
- Comply with any procedures, laws, and regulations which apply to us where it is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of others.
- Establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights where it is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of others
Candidates for employment
If you are interested in joining the zoolife team, we will collect your personal contact information and details related to your professional qualifications including your resume, your work preferences and details about your life that will give us a better idea of your fit with zoolife. Zoolife may also use social channels, such as LinkedIn for further reference. We use this data to determine if your expertise aligns to the role you are applying for and to contact you if we believe you are a viable candidate.
Data Controller and Data Processor
A Data Controller is an organization that determines how to collect and process personal data. A DataProcessor is an organization that processes personal data on behalf of a Data Controller. Zoolife is considered the Data Controller when collecting and processing data from users to our application or from those who are interested in using or learning more about our services, and aims to protect personal data to the highest level of care by following a strict privacy framework.
Personal Data Disclosure
Zoolife will only disclose your personal data to the following parties under specific circumstances:
- To zoolife personnel, if required, to fulfill your request.
- In connection with the sale or reorganization of all or part of our business, as permitted by applicable law.
- Partners. Our current and prospective animal sanctuary partners and zoos may obtain certain information from us so we can coordinate with them to provide our services. Based on geographic location, they may also contact you with promotional offers regarding in-person visits of their animals.
- To Service Providers. We provide access to or share your information with select third parties who perform services on our behalf. They have access to perform these services but are prohibited from using your information for other purposes. They provide a variety of services to us, including billing, sales, marketing, product content and features, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, security, and legal services.
- Public Forums. Certain features of our services make it possible for you to share content publicly. The information you submit through such features is not confidential, and may use it for any purpose (including in testimonials or marketing materials). Any information you post openly in these ways will be available to the public at large and potentially accessible through search engines.Accordingly, please take care when using these features.
- Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information to law enforcement, regulatory bodies or courts, when we are required to do so.
Personal Data Security
Zoolife is committed to protecting the personal data we collect, process and disclose about you. We maintain appropriate safeguards and take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, ensure that we limit its use and that we disclose it only to the parties that have a legitimate reason to have access to it.
We ensure that all the parties that we disclose your personal data to, internal and external to zoolife, have contractual obligations to protect the security and the confidentiality of your personal data. We use encryption to protect sensitive data about you.
Personal Data Transfers
For the purpose of operating our services, your information will be transferred to systems that reside in the US. We ensure that your data is safeguarded and work with our vendors to ensure that the risks to your privacy are minimized.
For personal data transferred out of the EU we have implemented Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure that we have a valid data transfer mechanism in place that ensures the protection of your personal data once it is stored in the US.
Rights You Can Exercise About Your Personal Data
Subject to any exceptions provided by law, you have the right to request access to, update or deletion of your personal data. You also have the right to request restriction of or object to the processing of your personal data. And you have the right to request to have your data transferred to another organization in a commonly used format.

We collect personal data provided directly by you during direct communication with any of our representatives either through email or through a form on our website. We collect your name, email address and the reason for your communication. We use this information to acknowledge and respond to your request.
EU individuals – Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
If you reside in the EU and want to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority (Data ProtectionAuthority) you may do so in the Member State where you reside, where you work or where you may have experienced an issue with the processing of your personal data.
